Blackbaud Pacific (BBP) is part of Blackbaud’s International Markets Group (IMG) serving Australia, New Zealand and Asia markets. By joining our professional services team, you will be among a talented group of customer service professionals who delight our customers and have fun doing it.


About the role

A career in Professional Services with Blackbaud gives you the chance to work directly with our customers while leveraging your not for profit industry expertise and Blackbaud product knowledge. Teams within Professional Services manage a customer’s transition from sales to the implementation of one of Blackbaud’s products or the delivery of a service. We’re our customers’ trusted advisor who listens, understands where they want to go, and helps them get there as quickly and effectively as possible.


What you'll be doing

  • Implement Blackbaud’s fundraising and relationship management software
  • Take customers on a journey through the software implementation lifecycle from mapping, system design and configuration, training and go live support
  • Deliver training to Blackbaud customer’s ranging from system users to executives on how to most effectively use their system
  • Translate customer’s business processes and requirements, ensuring the solution meets the customer’s needs
  • Be the fundraising and industry subject matter expert, advising on best practice
  • Build customer relationships and demonstrate leadership to drive consensus and project related decisions
  • Active promotion of the services and software offered by Blackbaud


What we need from you

  • You must love engaging with and satisfying customer needs across all aspects of software implementation and post go live activities
  • You will be open to working across platforms and have a desire to learn and grow
  • You are self-motivated, reliable and in control of your own destiny
  • Experience with Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge software or similar fundraising databases
  • Prior experience delivering consulting services and meeting utilisation targets
  • An ability to engage and collaborate with clients through a partner-based approach to project delivery
  • 5+ years’ experience in implementing software
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven customer management skills and be service oriented
  • Ability to travel, work independently, with strong time management and organisational skills


Blackbaud is a ‘Remote First’ organisation and this role will be delivered remotely. Customer ‘on-site’ visits will be a requirement of the role and thus your residence in Australia or New Zealand is preferred.


Working hours will be based on the Australian Eastern time zones (AEST and AEDT). Public holidays will apply to your home location.
